EyeMate

EyeMate is an educational app for health practitioners who are interested in neurophthalmology.

What does it contain?

• Educational tips by the author Dr Subahari Raviskanthan.
• Resource drawings by Dr Elle Nguyen.
• Neurology tips by A/Prof Richard Stark.
• Color vision testing (Ishihara plates, Swatches, Red Saturation).
• Visual acuity (Snellen), contrast, astigmatism, retinal disease (Amsler) tests.
• Eye movement photography, layout and export as pdfs.
• Pupil, eyelid, cranial nerve, orbital muscle measurements and intepretation.
• Dynamic Optokinetic Nystagmus (OKN) testing.

Face Data Measurements

The Visual Acuity testing panel uses the Apple TrueDepth framework to measure the distance to the face of a person being tested. Specifically it measures the distance to each eye and takes the average distance and then adjusts the size of the presented visual stimuli. It does not record this data but uses it in real time only. In addition, no face or distance data is transmitted to any third party or server.
